This always made me hesitant to mount the old (pre 2021) Griffon on my skis. But in 2021 Marker redesigned the Griffon heel with that feedback in mind and now I find it to be one of the easiest bindings to get into and it has a nice lock down heel snap that inspires confidence that you're locked in and ready to ski hard.
